A silver-plate coffee pot and silver-plate water jug, C.G.Hallberg, Sweden, first half of the 20th century.

Round shapes on a low foot, band decoration around the body. The jug with a cane-woven handle. The teapot with a handle of blackened wood. Height 13-18 cm.

Dents. Some wear and stains.

More about Sylvia Stave

Sylvia Stave was a Swedish silversmith and designer. From 1931 to 1939, she was the artistic director for C.G. Hallberg in Stockholm, for whom she designed models in silver, silver plaque, and pewter. Her most famous works are her jugs and cocktail shakers with wrapped handles. She later moved to France. Her production has been internationally recognised by collectors for its pure, restrained design language.
