Of engraved brass. Stamped IGH. In a wooden case. A handwritten note accompanies with the text: "In the line of Garden Street in Uppsala, the needle shows 25 degrees to the East, year 1815. 11.5 x 11.5 cm.
Probably later glass, The glass and the ring loose.
