With an extra printed dedication leaf: ”Axelio comiti de Fersen, equiti ac senatori, quem GUSTAVI III manus in senatum duxit, Soloni Sueco, donum auctoris” (To Axel von Fersen the Elder [1719-1794], knight and senator, the hand of Gustav III in the Senate / Sweden’s Solon / gift from the author).

Original grey boards, a little stained, toned spine. Provenance: Stafsund, sale 15.9.1966 (no 970).

First edition. Domenico Michelessi's history of Gustav III's revolution, quickly published in several editions and translations.
