Enamelled in white with painted decoration. One with two compartments, decorated in grisaille with scenes of pastoral courtship, the inside of the lids with portraits of a woman and child, owner's initials on the underside. The other with painted decoration of scattered flowers. 9 x 6.5 x 4 cm each.
The lids and the metal fittings for the lids are loose from the boxes themselves. Cracks. Damage. A porcelain box from Rosenthal, 20th century, is included (chips and repairs).
