A pair of porcelain figures, "Je les punis" and "Je les unis", from the "Devisenkinder"-series, around 1900.

"Je les punis" in the form of a standing putto holding a heart and hammer beside a column, incised "Fl" and stamped "16", painter's signature "29" with a Meissen mark in underglaze blue. Height 15 cm.

"Je les unis" in the form of a standing winged putto with a floral wreath on his head, tying ribbons around hearts on a fluted column. Incised "F1", stamped "83", painter's signature "39", with a Meissen mark in underglaze blue. Height 14 cm.

"Devisenkinder" was designed around 1775 by the sculptor Michel Victor Acier (1736–1799).
