LETTERS FROM AUGUST STRINDBERG
We have the pleasure of offering a collection of autograph letters and cards from August Strindberg to his close friend since the 1890s, Gustav Brand (1857-1953). The letters range from 1898 to 1910 and many of them were sent to Brussels, where Brand practiced medicine after leaving Lund university in 1898. Gustaf Brand is supposedly the model for ”Doktor Borg” in Strindberg’s novel ”Götiska rummen” (1904).
