Uppe till höger i målningen på Tullportsgatan vid Mosebacke torg, har konstnären mycket tydligt fångat "Edelcrantz optiska telegraf". Samtida, så tydliga avbildningar av Abraham Niclas Edelcrantz för Sverige, så viktiga och revolutionerande optiska telegraf, är mycket sällsynta.
Den optiska telegrafen vid Mosebacke torg fungerade som basstation för hela telegraflinjen.
