Kjartan Slettemark var under ett halvt sekel en drivande kraft på den skandinaviska konstscenen och en pionjär inom både performance och konstaktivism. Med tidiga aktioner som ockupationen av Moderna Museet i Stockholm, sina resor med ett pass med en bild på en skäggig Richard Nixon och sina oväntade framträdanden iförd pudelkostym blev han snart en av våra mest omtalade konstnärer.
