Contemporary full blindstamped pigskin. Traces of use: binding and endleaves worn, covers warped and somewhat soiled, half-title creased, portrait with small hole affecting the background, one leaf with vellum index tab and torn into text, occasional tears, small holes and stains, a few leaves with very slight loss, occasional inkstains and a few annotations.
