A CARPET, flat weave, ca 313 x 200,5 cm, signed L J (probably Lilian Johanesson).

The decor is inspired by Märta Måås-Fjetterström's designs. Polychrome stepped medallions on a stripe patterned ground in alternately pale yellow and ivory melange nuances as well as other colours. An ivory melange border with patterns as above.
Lilian Johanesson worked at the MMF atelier as young but continued to weave in her home in Båstad. Bukowskis thanks AB MMF's CEO Angelica Persson for her help with this information.

Some wear, slightly dirty, stains. Damaged ends, some of the fringes are damaged, several are missing.
