"The flax in the wall hanging is a reuse of the graphic edge strips that are left over in the production of the furniture fabric "Norrland" at Klässbols Linneväveri. I wanted to elevate these beautiful waste strips into a unique piece. A graphic abstract shading like fresh snow on a dark field". The weaver: Carita Landstedt.(Unique). A label at the back.

LENA BERGSTRÖM (f. 1961) utbildad vid Konstfack i Stockholm och är en av Sveriges mest prisbelönta och produktiva formgivare. Hennes produktion omfattar allt från glas, belysning, textiler, smycken till offentliga utsmyckningar. Hon har samarbetat med en rad olika företag, haft utställningar runt om i hela världen samt hennes alster finns representerade på internationella designmuseer. Hennes formspråk kännetecknas av rena, moderna och arkitektoniska former med starka grafiska kontraster. Ofta utmanar hon materialets egenskaper och på ett lekfullt sätt utvecklar hon traditionella tekniker och ideal.
