En kort beskrifning öfwer den wid wästra hafwet belägna, wäl bekanta och mycket berömliga siö- handel- och stapul-staden Götheborg, utur åtskillige trowärdige historie-böcker, gamla bref, minnesmärken och andre tilförlåtelige bewis, både med nöye och flit sammanletad.

Göteborg, J. E. Kallmeyer, 1739. 4to. (21,2 x 17 cms.) [8] + 236 pp. + 4 engraved plates + engraved folding map.

Early 20th-century full marbled calf, front hinge broken, scattered stains, i. a. dampstain to page 1 and reverse of map. Occasional near-contemporary marginalia in ink. Ownership inscrition ”P. Schissler”, probably Pehr Schissler (1724-94), a topographical writer himself. Printed label from Thulin & Ohlson booksellers in Gothenburg.

Aberstén, Bibliographia Gothoburgensis, 2. One chapter deals with the trade of Gothenburg, and the East India Company.
