Full early 18th century calf, spine richly gilt in compartments with raised bands and gilt vellum title-piece. Somewhat worn, scratches to lower cover. Occasional slight staining, incl. three inkstains on p. 199. First two leaves of introduction bound out of order. Provenance: the Bonde family, Säfstaholm castle, with bookplate and gilt initials on label at foot of spine.
