Three volumes, somewhat worn and scuffed. Contemporary full calf, spines richly gilt in compartments, third volume with weak joints (especially at front), spine with loss of a small piece of leather (laid in). Map with insignificant damage to upper margin at fold, some slight spotting and scattered small stains, occasional small marginal holes, a few creases. Engraved bookplate.
Second, revised edition of Jean Hardouin’s (1646- 1729) version, which originally appeared in 1685.
