Born 1985 in Gothenburg. He lives and works in Gothenburg and in Los Angeles, USA. He studied at Valand Academy, Gothenburg and the Royal College of Art in London. Obsessing about architecture or particular Hollywood movies, Emanuel makes paintings and sculptures specific to certain addresses or frames in films. Or even specific to the places where the painting will hang or certain temperatures in light on a particular day. Röhss has shown at Thielska, Index Art Foundation and Issues in Stockholm, T293 in Rome and SALTS in Birsfelden, Switzerland.
