Animal painters – works by Thure Wallner and Mosse Stoopendaal

The plein air painters pioneering art the end of the 19th century had many followers in the Swedish art history. Bruno Liljefors had a great impact on generations of artists who found their motifs from the wildlife. Even though both Thure Wallner and Mosse Stoopendaal studied for other teachers Bruno Liljefors was a great role model. Wallner consulted Liljefors regarding his work and Stoopendaal shared Liljefors' passion for hunting.
