Johan Strandahl, born 1966 in Sweden. Strandahl works like Sisyphus, creating processes that are time- and effort consuming, while bordering on the meaningless. He often gives himself tasks such as recreating cheap, mass-produced objects, like power tools, kitchen tables and artist materials such as brushes and palettes. Exhibitions include the biennial Open Art in Örebro.
