Christian Cavallin är född 1958 och växte upp i Malmö men är numera bosatt och verksam i Stockholm. Cavallins konst präglas av ett systematiskt utforskande av nya erfarenheter där musiken är en stor inspirationskälla. Cavallin finns bland annat representerad på Moderna Museet i Malmö.
