Christine Keefe föddes i Chicago 1961 och bodde i Connecticut fram till 1980. Hennes konstnärliga bana tog fart 1977 och åren mellan 1980 och 1985 studerade hon på BFA School of Visual Arts i New York. Keefes första utställning ägde rum år 1985 på Heland Thordén Wetterling Gallery i Stockholm och sedan dess har hennes verk visats på utställningar runt om i USA.
