Handmade hanging lamps of washi paper is a very old East Asian tradition and the
finest today are made in Japan. This lamp was designed in the shape of a pendant
droplet or a wasp nest. This extra-large size lantern is found in two places at K5 Tokyo; over the reception and over the king-size bed of the grand suite ‘K5 Loft’. Hand made by master craftsmenin the maximum (120 cm) size possible.
