Two parts in one volume, contemporary marbled calf, smooth spine gilt, head & foot of spine chipped, some slight worming to spine, slight discoloration along edges of endpapers, very slight corner loss to one leaf (text unaffected), title with two old ownership inscriptions. Bookplate: K. A. de Belfrage.

Friedrich Hasselquist (1722-1752) travelled in Asia Minor, Egypt, Palestine and Cyprus from 1749 to 1752, and died during his return journey. His ”Iter Palaestinum” was published in 1757 by Linnaeus; this is the first French edition.
