Ein Christliches und gar schönes Betbüchlein. Allen gutherzigen fromen Christen zu trost und nutz zusamen gezogen.

Heinrichstadt, Conrad Horn, 1580. Small 4to. (18 x 15 cms.) [11] + 1-69, 80-132, 134-160 (last leaf blank). Irregular pagination, but complete. With a few woodcuts.

Contemporary calf, blindstamped to a panel design, front cover stamped with the name ”Eggert Stake 1580” (1550-1593), and with ”Mavesigh” on lower cover. Binding somewhat worn and restored, text with recurring dampstains, repairs and reinforcements, front pastedown worn. Ownership inscription of George Oxenstierna dated 1719, bookplate of Chr. Hammer, inscription and bookplate of Thore Virgin (1914), bookplates of Carl Piltz and of Per-Erik & Ludmilla Lindahl.
