Bernström’s attractive copy of Stora Tuna (Dalecarlia), 1743

A very fine copy in contemporary full vellum, lightly soiled, spine with title in black and embossed circular stamp of Lund University Library with traces of gilding, front cover with gilt supralibros of Swedish collector Gustaf Bernström, red eges. Front pastedown with the university library’s annotations and deaccession stamp. Some slight foxing and a very faint dampstain close to upper edge on some leaves. Ownership inscription of Gustaf Noring 1878 and of ”C D Hill” (probably Carl Johan Danielsson Hill, father of the artist and a professor at Lund University).
