Bigert & Bergström is a Stockholm based artist duo featuring Mats Bigert and Lars Bergström. They have been collaborating since 1986, earning an international recognition for their conceptual and often technically complex projects. Their work span over large scale sculptures and installations to performance art and film. Their works are often in the intersection of human nature and nature and technology, subjects that they approach using curiosity and humor. Bigert & Bergström have exhibited regularly internationally and in Sweden and exhibitions include Moderna Museet, Uppsala Art Museum, Artipelag and Dunkers. Bigert & Bergström can be seen in many public art collections, and they have created many sculptures and installations for public environments, such as the Central Station in Stockholm.
