Stockholm, Hörbergska boktryckeriet, 1838. 8vo. (16,5 x 10,2 cms.) [2] + VIII + 3-180 pp. Contemporary half leather, spine gilt, binder’s label of J. C. Hoppe, Christiania. Slight wear. Title with a few old inscriptions in ink, a few pencil markings in text.

Together with the long folding engraved canal map, ”Karta öfver segelleden från Stockholm genom Götha Kanal till Götheborg af F. Schultz 1837”, c. 15,5 by 223 cms, hand-coloured, linen-backed, old signature on verso, very fine; in a marbled slipcase with red armorial wax seal and faintly legible inscription, ”Sibbern”.
