Marimekko – Art of Nature

In celebration of International Women’s Week 2022, Finnish design house Marimekko has collaborated with three prominent visual artists from around the globe: Cassi Namoda, Camilla Engström and Yoyo Nasty. For this special collaboration, Marimekko commissioned each artist to create a unique art piece to be auctioned during International Women’s Week in March 2022. Each sold artwork will be sewn into a custom-made archetype Marimekko A-line dress according to the buyer’s measurements, making the items true forms of wearable art. Profits from the auction will be donated to Gurls Talk – a community-led non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the mental health and wellbeing of adolescent girls and young women.
