Anders Scherling, a Gustavian secretaire, Stockholm 1783.

Signed in a small drawer ASL and marked with the Stockholm furniture makers guild mark year 1783. Mahogany veneered with brass fittings and lists. Green Kolmård marble top.

Top marked on the underside with indistinct red chalk text.
Height 125 cm, width 92 cm, dept 47 cm.

Wear and defects due to age and use. Damaged hinges. Missing screws. A loose knob, retouches to the writing surface.
