Charlie Woolley's dialectical practice investigates topics of language, politics and culture. His work is shaped by communication, as it is clear in his fully operational radio show broadcast live in collaboration with art galleries, organizations and magazines. In his sculptural and mixed media works involving collage, textiles and installation Woolley juxtaposes found elements and sets them in dialogue with one another in order to create new estranging, and poetic images. The evoking tension these images convey also opens up a conversational space.
The lot is only available for viewing at Bukowskis, Berzelii Park 1, September 15-17 and September 19.
