A fine pair of Japanese vases with cover, Meiji period (1868-1912).
Decorated in underglaze blue with enamel colours in red, green and gold within reserves. The lid with a finial in the shape of a dog. Height ca. 50 cm.
Minor wear. Minor firing flaws. One lid with a minor chip on the underside of the lid.
