Utagawa Kuniyoshi, three woodblock prints in colours, mid 19th Century.

Three prints depicting the hero Sakata no Kintoki (坂田金時), including from the series Meikô hyaku yû den (名高百勇伝) - this one presumably after - and one part of the triptych The Earth Spider Slain by Raikô’s Retainers (Minamoto no Yorimitsu no Shitennô tsuchigumo taiji no zu, 源頼光の四天王土蜘退治之図). Vertical ôban: circa 35 x 24 cm.

Unframed. Minor wear, faded. One with needle holes in the margins.
