More information

Åke Nothberg studerade vid Konstakademien 1909-1914 och gjorde en studieresa till Italien året 1920. Han utbildade sig även i grafik.
Han har målat landskap, stockholmsvyer, stilleben och porträtt. Hans landskapsmåleri bär impressionistiska drag, med ljusa dagrar i hans vintermotiv. Han intresserade sig även för teckning.
Tillsammans med Carl Luthander ställde han ut i Stockholm 1924 och han medverkade i samlingsutställningar arrangerade av Svenska konstnärernas förening, Sveriges allmänna konstförening och Skara konstförening.
Han representerad Sverige vid Biennalen i Venedig 1926. Representerad vid bland annat Moderna museet i Stockholm och Nationalmuseum i Stockholm.
