Gustavsberg

In 1919, when art historian Gregor Paulson presented his ideas of "More Beautiful Everyday Goods", many Swedish porcelain factories, including the one in Gustavsberg, began to make everyday products accessible to everyone. During the same period, Wilhelm Kåge started to work at Gustavsberg as artistic director.

In 1942, Wilhelm Kåge established the artistic workshop Gustavsberg's Studio, which mainly focused on ceramic art objects. During the 20th century, several great Swedish ceramic designers, such as Stig Lindberg, Bernt Friberg and Lisa Larson, worked there.

Since the 1950s, Lisa Larson's figurines have been desirable collectables. This themed auction includes several items from her production, including unique figurines.
