A Finnish folkart long pile ryijy-rug carpet dated 1927 after Saarijärvi model. Circa 275 x 180 cm.
On the left side of the central design is the bridal couple and on the right side the date 1927 and the initials ES. Above and below the central motif are fruit trees in blossom. The border has angular and vertical squares.
Wear due to age and use. Damages. Woven of two pieces. Repairs.
