Made to order for Villa Pikarla.
Red pine frame with leather upholstery. Width 60 cm. Seat height 35 cm. Total height 75 cm.
Uno Pikarla, (ekonomieråd, Finnish honorary title), built the "Villa Pikarla" summer residence in 1959. The architects were Aarne Hytönen and Raimo Luukkonen. The furnishings were designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara. The Chaco armchairs were part of the original furnishings at Villa Pikarla.
Wear and rear due to age and use. Scratches. Marks. Dry cracks and damage to the buttonhole of one armrest. The fastening straps are replaced. Single stains to the upholstery. The upholstery has been treated and repainted.
