Provenance
According to the engraving, Johan Ludvig Runeberg (1804-1877) and Fredrika Runeberg (1807-1979) gave the brooch to their daughter-in-law Edith (née Levón) Runeberg (1853-1927) in 1872, the same year that Edith married Johan Wilhelm Runeberg (1843-1918). Edith Runeberg and Johan Wilhelm Runeberg were married on 31.12.1872.
