Balustershape, brownglazed decorated in relief. Heigth 18.5 cm. The bowl with a stylized pattern in brown as well. Diameter 20 cm. Shipwreck.

Crazing, firingspots. Cracks.

Provenance

A private collection of Asian Ceramics. The collection was brought together by a Swedish gentleman with a career at within the Swedish Foreign Ministry. During the years posted in various countries in Asia the interest of Fine Art and Asian Art that he had with him from home developed and an academic study collection was formed. Friendships and alliances were made within the field that even resulted in arranging gest lectures for Mr Abu Rihdo, of Museum Pusat, Jakarta at the East Asian Museum in Stockholm in 1981.
