Lotta Döbling works with graphics and painting. She lives in Stockholm and has her studio in Hökarängen. When she was young, she attended the Graphics School in Stockholm and worked with graphics for several years. After that she started painting and continued her education at the Academy of Arts in Stockholm.
Her motifs are taken from various sources, such as nature motifs, film stills, images from everyday life and art history. The motifs are reworked and transformed into new stories where color is the focus. She is interested in a movement in the image, an event in several planes, where surface and depth meet.
