The semi-industrial technology was developed by textile engineer Betsy Wegelius. The Pohjanlahti series consists of 12 different models that were manufactured in limited editions in the early 1960s.
The rug has been part of the interior decoration at Villayhtymä Oy - Uniwool Ltd 's reception room.
