HERMÈS A Life – A Private Collection F268

Bukowskis has been entrusted to sell a fantastic life's work – a private collection of bags, accessories, and exclusive garments from some of the world's leading fashion houses. An extensive collection that represents Anna Alexandersson's great interest in fashion, her exquisite taste, and eye for detail. This themed auction includes a collection of well-preserved items from Hermès.

Hermès was founded as early as 1837 by Thierry Hermès. The business initially focused on manufacturing saddles, harnesses and other accessories for horses and carriages. The well-known flagship store was opened in 1880 at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. At the beginning of the 20th century, the first bags were produced, and in 1925 the first garments were sold. The iconic bags, whose designs were influenced by Jane Birkin and others, have also significantly influenced the luxurious feel that is an inherent part of Hermès' identity. Other significant collaborations have been with designers such as Martin Margiela and Jean Paul Gaultier. This collection includes bags, accessories and shoes in absolutely mint condition.
