Made to order for Palace Hotel. Black leather upholstery, cushion. X-shaped foot in wood. Width 90 cm. Seat height 40 cm. Total height 90 cm.
The armchair was part of the original interior of the Palace Hotel. The Palace Hotel opened in 1952, the same year that the Helsinki Olympics were held. The building was designed by architects Viljo Revell and Keijo Petäjä, and the interior was decorated by Antti Nurmesniemi, among others.
Wear due to age and use. Damages on the upholstery. Later upholstery with folds.
