Helene Schjerfbeck, an embroidery model for The Friends of Finnish Handicraft.

Helene Schjerfbeck composed patterns for wall hangings, tablecloths, and cushions for the Friends of Finnish Handicrafts in the early 20th century. The scene with a seated man giving the woman a wedding ring was designed in 1908 for FFH. The motif is called "The Tree of Life". The work is ca. 22 x 25 cm in size.

Wear due to age and use. Faded. Electrical function not tested.
