Yoko Yamano är född och uppvuxen i Japan och har en masterexamen i glas och keramik från Konstfack. Hon är verksam i Stockholm och arbetar både som glaskonstnär och som formgivare av bruksgods i porslin i Sverige och Japan. Hon har flera samarbeten med restauranger och arbetar även som kolumnist i Japan.
