Ann Edholm är bildkonstnär och grafiker, född 1953 i Saltsjöbaden. Sina studier bedrev hon vid Gerlesborgsskolan i Stockholm på 1970- och 1980-talet samt vid Konstakademien i Stockholm mellan 1981-1986. Hon har även varit professor vid Konstakademien och Konsthögskolan Valand i Göteborg. Erhöll andra pris i Carnegie Art Award 2011. Ann Edholm är en av de mest intressanta konstnärerna i svensk samtidskonst med sina realistiska abstraktioner. Hon målar geometriska former i starka färger med utgångspunkt i yta - färg- slump- begränsning – exakthet - genomskinlighet. Färgskalan i varje bild är begränsad till ett fåtal färger. Verkan blir ett upphöjt lugn och en andaktsfull tystnad. Målningarna är titellösa för att undvika varje förbindelse med verkligheten.
