Anna Pajak beskriver sitt måleri som ett sätt att falla. Genom att släppa kontrollen och öppna för det oväntade skapar hon kontakt med historien, och för ett samtal med forna tiders kvinnor. Där finns ett ärofyllt arv som Pajak förvaltar och tar in i samtiden. Bilderna svävar mellan verklighet och fiktion, mellan rymden och havet, det tyngdlösa tillståndet och allt livs ursprung; hyperrealistiska detaljer blandas med enorma färgrymder.
Anna Pajak erhöll sin magisterexamen från Kungliga konsthögskolan 2020. Redan före sin examen plockades hon upp av ett galleri i Stockholm och har haft fler utställningar. Våren 2021 tilldelades hon Queen Sonja Print Award Inspirational Award som delas ut till en ung, lovande konstnär med utforskar grafiken inom sitt konstnärskap.
