Raha Rastifard är en iransk-tysk konstnär som i dag är bosatt i Stockholm. Hon arbetar med allt från foto och video till teckning, installationer och grafik, men tar alltid sin utgångspunkt i personliga erfarenheter, och verken är till stor del självbiografiska. Hon skapar verk fulla av transkulturella, poetiska och konsthistoriska referenser, med målet att berätta en historia. Processen liknar ofta dagböcker där verklighet, drömmar och fantasier flätas samman.
Raha Rastifard har en Bachelor of Fine art från National University of Art i Teheran och en magister i europeisk och islamisk konsthistoria och iranska studier från Freie Universität i Berlin. Hon har ställt ut runtom i Europa och i Iran, men även i bland annat Japan, Kina och USA.
