More information

This Blancpain X Swatch watch honors Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, the first true diver’s watch. Its blue case and crown are made of Bioceramic material. The word “Swatch” is inscribed on the outer left side of the case. The metal dial is printed in several layers of color for a gradient effect. The hour indexes, hour, and minute hands, as well as the scale on the bezel, are enriched with Grade A Super-LumiNova® for outstanding legibility in the dark. The one-direction rotating ocean blue-colored Bioceramic bezel, and biosourced glass are treated with an anti-scratch coating. The SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible thanks to a transparent sapphire glass and features an illustration of the Atlantic Ocean and the Glaucus Atlanticus nudibranch in digital print. Five inspirational inscriptions can be found on the back of the watch: PASSION FOR DIVING – LICENCE TO EXPLORE – OCEAN BREATH – PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE and IMMERSE YOURSELF. The NATO strap is made of recycled fishing nets that were removed from the sea. The pin buckle and loops are made of Bioceramic material. (swatch.com)
