Lennart Olausson galleri-debuterade på Galleri Doktor Glas i Stockholm 1968. Året därpå genomförde han en på sin tid uppmärksammad utställning hos legendariska Galerie Belle i Västerås.
Fotorealistiske målaren Lennart Olausson är utbildad vid Kungliga Konsthögskolan (1966-1971) samt vid Konstfack (1961-1965). Han är representerad på bl a Moderna Museet, Nationalmuseum och Statens Konstråd. Moderna Museet köpte sin första målning av Lennart Olausson redan 1977.
Konstsamlingarna vid Handelsbanken Stockholm, Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard samt tyska Siemens inkluderar betydande verk av Lennart Olausson.

Lennart Olausson made his gallery debut at Galleri Doktor Glas in Stockholm in 1968. The following year, he held an exhibition that drew attention in its time at the legendary Galerie Belle in Västerås.
The photorealist painter Lennart Olausson was educated at the Royal Academy of Arts (1966-1971) and at Konstfack (1961-1965). He is represented at, among others, the Moderna Museet, the National Museum and the State Council of the Arts. Moderna Museet bought its first painting by Lennart Olausson back in 1977.
The art collections at Handelsbanken Stockholm, Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard and the German Siemens include significant works by Lennart Olausson.
