Makode Linde, född 1981 i Stockholm, har studerat på Adolf Fredrik Musikskola, Konstfack, California College of Art och Konsthögskolan i Stockholm. 2008 fick han Elevstipendiet på Stockholm Art Fair och Sibirien Litos elevstipendium. Numera är Makode internationellt verksam och bosatt i Berlin där han målar, gör performances och scendekorer, är musiker, DJ och gör skivomslag och musikvideos.
Till KRO´s 75-årsjubileum, som firades på Moderna Museet, deltog Makode med sin performance Painful Cake. När kulturminister Lena Adelsohn-Liljeroth satte kniven i den numera världsberömda tårtan blev Makode över natten känd över hela världen. Sedan dess har Makode haft ett flertal utställningar, bl a Negerkungens Återkomst på Kulturhuset, Galleri Neger på Galleri Leger, VIDA Konsthall, och 300 Virigins på Galleri Agardh & Tornvall.
