A Swedish Rococo chest of drawer attributed to Johan Neijber (Stockholm 1768-1795).
Slab of grey limestone, veneer laid in a checkerboard pattern using various woods including mahogany, rosewood, and walnut, brass fittings. Bulbous shape with three drawers. Width 119 cm, depth 62 cm, height 79 cm.
Stone slab original but cracked and missing small pieces. Veneer damages. Cracks due to dryness of the material. Minor damages.
