Jais Nielsen, a stoneware lidded jar, Royal Copenhagen Denmark, 1928.

Glazed in brown and some blue, four different facial reliefs, the lid with a feline in relief, signed in underglaze blue JAIS 10-3-28, the lid 4-4-28 and the wave mark, and etched 7998 (?blurred). Height 13.5 cm.

Appears to be in good condition.
